Abstract is still my main process but minimalist aesthetics are becoming more important
Abstract painting continues as my main art research. I have been developing an interest and understanding of minimalist aesthetics and non-objective processes, which is increasing its influence on my art. This small group of 60x60cm paintings continue a series I started in 2018, where I have been stretching the canvases over 10mm plywood boards. This gives me the hard surface I enjoy and it is a size I can comfortably rotate on my easel suiting my painting process.
