Starting around 2018, my stripe paintings began as a way to use up paint at the same time continuing my experiments with chance and abstract art. Working mostly with pads of 35x27cm 300gsm watercolour paper and using a palette knife to spread the left over paint. The process of making these stripes, is fast and efficient often with unexpected outcomes. A selection of these filled one wall in my solo exhibition at gaffa Gallery.
