Many of the works on this page were made during Term1 at UNSW Art and Design, as part of my Capstone Project which concluded with an exhibition at gaffa Gallery in Sydney CBD. My wall in the exhibition was titled “10 Oil Dots”, a grid of nine acrylic paintings on 30x30cm canvas boards, with a seperate 10th piece a digital collage printed on 30x30cm aluminium (titled: 10 Oil Dots). The painting on this page, ‘Once Was’ is a reworking of an unsold Oil Dot painting from that exhibition. It is often the case with me, that either a work I make on the side while preparing for the exhibition or re-working a piece after the exhibition, has more freedom and depth.
