This is a diverse selection of abstract paintings, mostly on paper. They continue the free and prolific output that covid isolation forced me to ‘negotiate’ while continuing to experiment and observe using abstract and minimalist enquiries.

These paintings represent examples of my ongoing research into abstract shapes and my love of experimenting with different processes and materials. I continued to make work on my ‘tabletop studio‘ because of space and convenience. Much of my process continues to be chance based, this year with the use of natural dyes and found objects on A4 or A3 paper. I still find the random stripes process attractive and there always seems to be one I am working on.
