2018 (the 2nd half of the year)

Paintings after July 2018
In this 2nd half of the year my artworks are richer and stronger. They are mostly small and on watercolour paper. Missing the energy of larger paintings, I began a series of 60x60cm canvases, bringing back memories of the tactile pleasure from the texture of canvas.
Continuing my part-time studies with the Master of Art, I struggled with ‘Communication Skills for Creative Disciplines’ but successfully completed it. In the end this difficult subject benefitted my reading and writing skills while expanding philosophical thoughts around art. Random and chance has always been in my art making processes but now it is justified!
