In 2016 I held my solo exhibition of 30x30cm paintings at the Cooroy Butterfactory Arts Centre, Sunshine Coast, QLD.
For me these abstract paintings have parallels with natural processes, layers on layers and often starting with random marks. Making my art reflects the intricate multi-layered systems throughout natural areas. The colours and marks I use respond to what has gone before, often covering and blending to produce new unexpected compositions.
