BigCi Artist Residency
I spent six weeks with other artists at BigCi in the Blue Mountains. Initially my proposal was around the bushfires of last summer, but it expanded to include communication and nature’s cry for help. While taking on a narrative form around the meanings and shapes of the very specific international communication system, Marine Signal Flags, I managed to stay true to my abstract, non-objective processes.
