2020 off-cuts
In March my exhibition at gaffa Gallery was paintings on watercolour paper and introduced this new series of ‘off-cuts’. Using some canvas off-cuts from the studio floor to produce abstract shapes, I used these shapes with printing and stencil techniques and applied acrylic paint.
This series is a continuation of my largely Non-Objective art processes at the same time I continue to examine ‘abstract art’. Printing and stencil processes have threads back into my early career in printing and screen printing.
